The sky finder combines your location with the phone’s compass and motion sensors to indicate Voyager 1’s estimated direction. Calibration, magnetic interference and sensor limitations affect accuracy.

No. The torch sequence is a symbolic act. Voyager cannot see an iPhone flash from Earth. After the final flash, the app begins a 24-hour chronograph to make light-time emotionally tangible.

Prime-number patterns are not an alien language, but they demonstrate deliberate structure without depending on spoken language. The app uses them as a small lesson before converting one short word into timed flashes.

No. It is an independent tribute and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or JPL. Official mission resources are linked and credited throughout the project.

The main experience needs no account. Camera, location and motion information used by the sky finder is processed on your device. Short messages are converted locally and are not uploaded. Read the Privacy Policy for details.

Yes. There are no advertisements or subscriptions, and all features remain available. Optional Apple In-App Purchases let people support continued development by goodwill. They unlock nothing and are never required.
